Statement of Faith

The Authority, Inerrancy, and Sufficiency of Scripture

We hold that all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, rebuke, correction, and training in righteousness, so that the man or woman of God may be complete and equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

The One True God and the Trinity

There is one living and true God, eternally sovereign, who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the three are One in essence. We affirm the historic Christian understanding of the Trinity as evidenced in Scripture: worshiping the Father, through the Son, by the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 1:1-3; John 14:16-17).

The Person and Work of Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose bodily on the third day, ascended to the Father, and now intercedes for believers. He is the only way of salvation and the image of the invisible God (John 1:1-14; John 14:6; Colossians 1:15-19; 2:9; Romans 5:8-9; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 4:12).

Salvation by Grace Through Faith in Christ

We are saved by grace through faith, not by works, so that no one may boast. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit brings new life and unites believers to Christ. Those who repent and trust in Jesus are justified by faith and receive eternal security in Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-7; Romans 3:23-26; Romans 10:9-10; John 3:16).

The Work and Role of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit regenerates, seals, empowers, and guides believers, producing spiritual fruit and shaping them into the likeness of Christ. He dwells within every true believer and enables a life of obedience and mission (John 3:5-8; Titus 3:5; Romans 8:9-11; Galatians 5:22-23).

The Church and the Mission of God

The Church is the visible and spiritual body of Christ, consisting of every born-again believer. Local churches are to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, baptize, and teach obedience. Believers are to gather for worship, fellowship, mutual edification, and corporate mission (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 4:11-16; Hebrews 10:24-25).

Apologetics and Evangelism

We are to give a reason for the hope we have in Christ, done with gentleness and respect, by Word and Spirit, so that all may hear the gospel. We engage culture thoughtfully, defend the truth, and lovingly persuade with clarity by the Spirit of God (1 Peter 3:15; Colossians 4:6; Acts 17:2-3; Romans 1:20).

Biblical Ethics and Moral Truth

We uphold Scripture as the final authority for belief and conduct. Biblical anthropology, marriage between one man and one woman, the sanctity of human life, and the call to holiness are affirmed in accordance with the creation ordinance and redemptive revelation (Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:24; Exodus 20:13; Psalm 139:13-16; Romans 1:26-27; Colossians 3:12-14).

The Return of Christ and the Final Hope

We await the personal, imminent return of Jesus Christ; the rapture of the church before the great tribulation; the resurrection of the dead; the final judgment; and the new heavens and new earth where righteousness dwells (John 14:1-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 21-22).
